- Additional Notes
Step 1: Install All-in-One Video Gallery
To get started, install the plugin. If it’s already installed, skip to the next step.

- Go to “WordPress Admin Dashboard / Plugins / Add New Plugin“.
- Search for “All-in-One Video Gallery” in the search box.
- Find the “All-in-One Video Gallery” plugin and click on Install Now, then activate the plugin.
After activation, you’ll be prompted to opt-in for update notifications. You can choose to opt-in or skip this step; it won’t affect the plugin’s functionality.
Step 2: Add Categories & Tags (Optional)
Categories help you organize your videos, making it easier for users to find content through searches and category/tag pages. You can also create galleries with single or multiple categories/tags for a customized display.

- Go to “WordPress Admin Dashboard / Video Gallery / Video Categories“.
- Enter a name, description, and upload an image, then click Add New Category.
- Repeat the process to add as many categories as needed.
Note: Tags work similarly and offer additional filtering options for your galleries, though they’re not required.

Step 3: Add Videos
Now, let’s add videos. You can upload from your PC or add videos from platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Rumble, or Facebook.

- Go to “WordPress Admin Dashboard / Video Gallery / All Videos“.
- Click on the Add New button.
- Enter a Title and Description for the video.
- Scroll down to the “Video” section.
- Select the “Source Type” (e.g., YouTube) and enter the video URL.
- Choose Categories and Tags (if applicable), then fill in other details.
- Click the Publish button to save the video.
After publishing, you’ll see a shortcode next to the Publish button, which you can use to embed the video on your website.
Note: The plugin can automatically generate thumbnail images for videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and Rumble. The PRO version offers this feature for self-hosted videos.
Step 4: Creating and Displaying Video Gallery
Once your videos and categories are added, you can display them on your site’s front end.

- Go to “WordPress Admin Dashboard / Video Gallery / Dashboard“.
- Select the Shortcode Type as “Video Gallery”. To display video categories, select “Categories”.
- In the General section, choose your template, categories, tags, video limit, and sort order.
- Click on the + Gallery section when done.
- Further customize the gallery layout by selecting columns, thumbnail positions, and display options.
- Click the Generate Shortcode button and copy the shortcode.
Paste the shortcode into a shortcode block on the desired post or page and save your changes.
Note: Each generated shortcode is unique, allowing you to create different galleries with varying configurations.
Additional Notes:
Upon activation, our plugin automatically adds the following pages to your site, which are essential for the plugin’s functionality. While you are free to edit these pages, it is important not to delete the shortcodes on these pages. Avoid deleting these pages unless absolutely necessary.
- Video Category
- Search Videos
- User Videos
- Player Embed
